JAMESTOWN HIGH SCHOOL EAGLES WINS STATE CHAMPIONSHIP

Congratulations to the Jamestown Boys 2015 High School Soccer team who have recently been crowned high school State Champs – 21 out of 23 players on Jamestown are currently competing for the Virginia Legacy Soccer Club. The Jamestown Eagles finished this season with a national ranking of #20 by NSCAA and #22 by TopDrawer Soccer.  The Eagles had a season record of 20-1.  JHS was lead this year by Jeff Wolons who had 46 goals and 14 assists. Jeff was named Daily Press Player of the Year, Conference Player of the Year, State Player of the Year and selected as an NSCAA Regional All-American!  Legacy player Kevin Tripp also contributed to the great run late in the season as he scored the game winning goals in the Semi-final and Finals. Head Coach Bobby O'Brien and Virginia Legacy Technical Director earned Conference and NSCAA State Coach of the Year.
