Legacy 76 Partners with St. Jude at NPSL Match

Over 400 Fans Pack Captains Field

Newport News, VA - On Sunday, June 22nd Legacy 76 squared off against DC United's U-23 squad, losing a close 1-0 match.  Legacy alums, Reilly Maw (College of William and Mary) and Jalon Brown (Christopher Newport University) led the attack, registering a handful of chances, but were unable to find the net.  Current Legacy player, Jeff Wolons (Jamestown High) was featured in the starting eleven, and was impressive during his first career start. 

The night featured a skills clinic before the game, and over 80 young soccer player participated.  Also in attendance were representatives from St. Judes Children Research Hospital, who partnered with the Legacy to sponsor the event. We greatly appreciate all the fans who made donations to St. Judes and for creating a great atmosphere during the game!

Legacy 76 travels to William S. Hart High School Staduim on June 27th for a matchup against Chesterfield FC.  Then on Sunday, July 6th Legacy 76 closes out its inaugural season against Virginia Beach City FC at Captains Field.
