Legacy Teams Have Successful Fall Season

Virginia Legacy would like to congratulate all their teams for their hard work this fall season. It has been a season like no other and we are proud of all our players and their families for being flexible and adaptable each week. We would like to give a special shutout to the following teams for their strong seasons in league play!

 

VSL Recap:

 

2009 Peninsula Wizards: Congrats to Coach Murphy and the team on a strong fall season. The group finished in 3rd place with a record 4-1-3. We are proud on all your hard work and progress this season.

 

2008 Wizards Green: Congrats to Coach Avery and the team on their fall season. The team finished tied for 2nd place with a record of 5-1-2 and outscored opponents 24-13. We are proud of all your hard work this fall and excited for your spring season.

2007 Wizards Green: Congrats to Coach Cookie and the team on another strong VSL season. The team finished in 2nd place with a record of 4-2-2 and outscored opponents 27-12. In their last weekend, the team finished with a 1-1 draw against the undefeated 1st place team in the division. Congrats on a great fall and we are looking forward to your spring season.

2005 Wizards Black: Congrats to Coach James Lee and the team for their 1st place finish in league play this fall. The group finished with a record of 6-1-1 and outscored opponents 35-13. In their last game, the group had an excited come from behind win to secure a 1st place finish. Congrats on all your hard work this season.

 

2006 Phoenix Girls: Congrats to Coach Hollenbeck and the team on a successful fall season. The team finished in 3rd place with a 4-2-2 record. The group put together some strong performances and got better each week. We are proud of all your hard work and excited for your spring season

 

 

2004 Phoenix Girls: Congrats to Coach Sarah and the 04 Phoenix team on a good fall season. The team finished in 3rd place in league play and each week got better. We are proud of all your hard work and excited for your upcoming tournaments.

 

TASL Recap:

 

2011 Peninsula Phoenix: Congrats to Coach Allie and the girls on a very successful fall season. The team finished league place with a record of 7 wins and 1 tie. It was exciting to watch them each week. The group finished in 1st place and scored some amazing goals. We can’t wait to see you back on the field this spring.

 

2011 Williamsburg Phoenix: Congrats to Coach Allie and the girls on a great fall season. The team finished the season in 2nd place with a record of 5 wins and 3 ties.  Also an undefeated league season! It was exciting to watch their development this fall and we can’t wait to have them back on the field this spring.

 

2007 Wizards Black: Congrats to Coach Jon and boys for a great fall season. The group finished the season in 3rd place in a very tight division. The boys ended the season on a 3 game winning streak. Each week the boys have taken big strides forward and we are excited to continue to watch their progress in the spring.

 

2012 Peninsula Wizards: Congrats to Coach Hagerty and the boys on a fun and successful fall season. The group finished in 1st place with a undefeated record of 7 wins and 1 tie. This was the first season of travel soccer for these boys and they did an amazing job. We are so proud of all their hard work and excited to watch them grow over the course of the spring season. 

 

2012 Williamsburg Wizards: Congrats to Coach Bobby and the boys on a successful fall season. The group finished in 1st place in their division inleague play with an undefeated record of 8-0. This was the first season of travel soccer for these boys and they did an amazing job. We are so proud of all their hard work and excited to watch them grow over the course of the spring season
