This past week - 3 Legacy Teams returned from Denver, Colorado where they competed in the US Club Soccer National Championships.  The 2005 Girls, 2005 Boys and 2004 Boys Elite teams all were representing Virginia as the State Champions.  All 3 teams competed very hard against competition from Minnesota, Arkansas, Texas, Pennsylvania, Hawaii, New Jersey and New Hampshire.  

The 2004 Boys competed close in every game - coming away with a tie and 2 losses.  Losing 4-2 to the eventual National Semi-Finalist. 

The 2005 Girls went 2-1 in group play and missed out on advancement to the National Semi-Finals on Goal Differential tiebreakers.  Their lone loss came to the eventual National Champion

The 2005 Boys went 2-1 in group play with wins over Texas and Arkansas - advancing them to the National Semi-Finals.  In the Semi-Finals they fell to the eventual National Champion in penalty kicks after a 1-1 draw through 100 minutes of play.
