Williamsburg - March 21, 2017: Today the Virginia Legacy Soccer Club unveiled its new club logo. What started in 1976 as the Williamsburg Soccer Club has evolved and morphed into one of the largest full service soccer clubs in the region – encompassing players from Williamsburg, York, Newport News, Poquoson, Hampton, New Kent, Gloucester, Smithfield, Chesapeake and Richmond and others in the Tidewater area. The Williamsburg Soccer Club changed its name in 2005 to Virginia Legacy to encompass all of its members, players, coaches and parents across the Peninsula. Over the past 5 years – Legacy has grown in all aspects and now serves over 2000 kids annually at the variety of programs listed below across the entire Peninsula.
