Virginia Legacy Teams Win State Cup

2009 Elite, 2008 Elite, 2006/05 Williamsburg Elite are headed to Colorado

November 12^th, Howison Park - Congratulations to the 2009 Elite, 2008 Elite, and the 2006/05 Williamsburg Elite for winning the US Club Soccer Virginia State Cup.

The 2009 Elite won in Pk’s after a 1-1 Draw. The 2008 Elite finished 2-1 in the final after being scored on first. The 2006/05 Williamsburg Elite scored late in the first half against the run of play and capitalized on two more opportunities against a desperate opponent to make it 3-0. The 2007 Elite lost in the Semi-Finals after holding a 1-0 lead all the way into the last 2 minutes of the game.

All 4 teams represented the club with heart this weekend and now 3 of our groups will have the opportunity to represent the state of Virginia at Nationals in July (Denver CO.)
